What is the Elite+™ Aesthetic Workstation?

The Elite+ Aesthetic Workstation is a laser system used to remove hair and provide photofacials. It offers several unique advantages, including:

Multiple wavelengths

The system uses two wavelengths, giving Dr. Ram the ability to switch wavelengths during a single procedure. This makes it safe for all skin types and allows your treatment to be customized to meet your needs.

What aesthetic problems are treated with the Elite+?

The Elite+ is great for removing unwanted hair. It can also perform photofacials, which can diminish skin problems, such as:

Why does hair removal require several laser treatments?

Every hair follicle on your body goes through a three-phase growth cycle. Each follicle grows hair for about 2-7 years. When the growth phase ends, the follicle goes through a short transitional stage, then it enters a resting phase.

During the resting phase, the hair in the follicle falls out. After roughly three months of rest, the follicle restarts the growth phase and a new hair grows.

Lasers can only treat hair follicles when they’re in a growth period. Since every hair follicle follows its own timing, you’ll need to have 2-6 treatments spaced about 4-16 weeks apart for all the hairs to be treated during their growth cycles.

How does the Elite+ work?

The results produced by the Elite+ are determined by its wavelengths. Both wavelengths are only absorbed by pigmented tissues, but one is used for brown pigments, such as age spots and those found in hair follicles, while the other is better for spider veins that appear on your face and legs.

When pigmented tissues absorb the laser’s energy, they’re heated just enough to make them break down. The surrounding tissues remained unaffected because they don’t absorb the energy. As pigmented cells are destroyed, the waste is removed by your body naturally.
